fast idle fixed?

fast idle fixed?

yesterday my TII suddenly decided it was going to idle at 2500 rpm and make a really loud sucking noise, took me all day but I managed to track it down to the spacer under the throttle body- there are two tee pieces at the front of the spacer that have vac/boost lines attached, in the front of each tee there is a little aluminium bung that fills the machining hole, one of mine decided to pop out! looks like they are just pressed in with a bit of sealant/glue so I will refit it and update later.
Hope this is useful, if someone else has this problem might save you some hours!

Fixed it. I used a bit of blue loctite and hammered the bung back in and problem solved! idles better than it ever has before.
