OK the boost gauge on the T2 im gettin dont work...are there any general faults with it likely to be such as fuse or a connection come loose???

Yeah, common fault. There is a solder in the back that is faulty, just needs re heating and a bit more solder to fix. Ive never actually bothered to do it, ive seen a step by step thing on some jap site that i cant find anymore! :-/

Its in the big flexable circuit board at the back of the instrument cluster...

......but I can follow his instructions up to the point of soldering but cant get enough out of his JapLish to work out WHAT to exactly be soldering,,.,he highlights two solder points...beyond that im lost!!!???
