Hi HondaGirl,
Alot of us T2'ers have removed the rear seats. Then you
have PLENTY of room for anything and everything
Cheers,
Luke.

Re: Subs!
Hmm... 2x12" subs. Mine are gone out of my turbo 2 now as it's loosing weight for drag season but we used to have can races accross the roof with the sterio cranked up. The roof would flex probably about an inch at peak.

hmmm.. just imagine what that's doing to your eardrums... hahaa! I have one 12" in a sealed box, it would fit easily into the back of my City although it's not in there at the moment!
Make sure you don't have your box too big for the sub... most subs have the best sealed and ported box dimensions with then when new.

Re: Subs!
Just doin the sub for mine. Jaycar 10" metal cone, dual coil. It's one heavy mother so should thump quite well! ;D Making a truncated pyramid shape box where the rear seats were and firing into it. Removable for the odd trip to the drag strip.
Give it heaps Hondagirl!

Re: Subs!
if you're after an amp.. you almost can't go past the Response (from jaycar) 2 x 100W amp.. it's actually 2 x 84WRMS but bridges into 1 x 234 WRMS which is very good for a price tag of around $200 .. mine has been great and a mate has one aswell.. they've both handled a lot of power running through them!!
Goodluck!

Re: Subs!
Totally agree! Have been using the Jaycar 2 x 100 and a 4 x 50 before I did the structural stuff on the car. Had two 8" 8Ω Carbon fibre drivers (also Response - Jaycar)paralelled as the subs and ran the amp bridged. It rocked big time!! ;D

Re: Subs!
If you are in the auckland area, there is a guy in Otara (yeah i know ) who imports some unknown, unlabeled amps from japan. They claim to be 1200W but that is all 4 channels into 2 ohms at some ridiculos voltage. Anyway, bridged it will crank out a nice stereo 200W RMS into 4 ohms. My 12" subs are rated at 200W RMS also, and they are Xmax-ing long before the amp shows any signs of clipping ;D
For a ridiculous price tag of $200 and with a one year (not sure if i trust that or not) guarantee you cant really go wrong! Certainly got my budget audio project cranking ;D
