I was just wondering if anyone knows what year CRX the seats are that are shown in the "Honda-lunatics from The Netherlands" topic. Im keeping a look out for new seats and those look REALLY nice!
Also, what sort of seats are everyone else using?
What year CRX seats?

Re: What year CRX seats?
Hey all,
I was looking at King Dragon road seats, but they are a bit expensive - about NZ$800 each. I've had a friend remodel the original Recaros with some steel tube in the side support and a race style support around the shoulder area. These will be re-trimmed to match the interior colours I'm going to use. I'll also lift the headrest a bit to fit a four point harness through the gap. ;D

did the prelude seats fit easy? or hard?
I have two spare prelude seats from my prelude without the rails sitting in my shed
would LOVE to put them in the city.

Never a good thing ;D
The stock seats are quite comfy though, and more importantly, much lighter than typical seats. I'd only swap them for lighter CF seats at $2500 each :-[

It's worse if you can get the other hand in AND clap!! ;D
Seriously though, there's heaps of really good light race seats around. More choices if you don't need them to recline.
I'm still looking. The modified original seats will mean I can retrim them to match the interior colours - nice show look. :)
The KingDragon items are awesome seats, which I could get much cheaper if our NZ agent wants to use my car for product promotions. :-/
Or a non-reclining race seat would give it a really staunch look, but not that practicle :-[
I think I'll go with one of the first two options!
